Step 4
Re-insert the potentiometer, turned 90deg anti-clockwise as you look at it (the contacts should be visible through the “top” of the servo case as it is installed in the car). Refit the small screw to hold it in place.

You will probably need to remove the little nub that is moulded into the inside of the HS-55 gear cover, next to the hole for the output gear. This is used as a bump-stop - but it’s in the wrong place for the kit servo gear
, and will stop it turning through the full range. Use a Dremel with a small cutter bit, or something similar.
