The “Real” MR-4BC Special (Page 1 of 4)
Originally released as a limited “factory” edition of 300 cars, in Japan only, this car is now available as the MR-4BC Special. It’s similar to the cars the Yokomo team drivers have been using to win recent Japanese championships (although they’ve been using some suspension mods, detailed here).
Option Parts on the Special
Graphite Low CG chassis - with holes in the bottom for the cells and the motor to sit a bit lower (same as the TC “Worlds” chassis?)
New Low-Friction shocks
New White springs (fronts are softer than MX4 Gold and BC Silver, rears are between the two)
Long wheelbase conversion kit
Top deck
Heavy duty steering block (for 12x6 bearings)
Heavy duty rear hub carriers with 1degree extra toe
Blue motor mount and battery strap
7deg caster blocks (standard BC has 5’s)
Full bearing kit
Universal joints all round
Centre one-way
Lightweight blue servo saver posts
“Precision” dished wheels on narrower offset hubs (6.5mm, not 10mm)
Also appear to be some revisions to the shock tower mouldings in the production kit, with strengthening on the rear, and extra camber link positions on the front.
